Designed for the inaugural Belvoir Flower and Garden Festival, we wanted the show garden to be a place of relaxation and contemplation - a sanctuary for all. We designed and built the garden for the charity Perennial, the Gardeners' Royal Benevolent Society. Perennial has been helping Horticulturalists in need for over 175 years - to find out more, see the link below.
As well as fitting the brief, it was really important to us that the garden reflected current trends and our distinct style. The clay paver paths led to a small reflection pool surrounded by the relaxed habit of three multi-stem Amelanchier trees. The main seating area was fitted out with two lovely sofas and a cast iron fire pit with additional hurricane lamps dotted around the space. The planting was intended to be calming and mediterranean in style. The colour tones of the planting are reflected in the choice of the paving and clay paver hues.
