The client brief was to create a modern country garden that comprised of several rooms. The front garden was to be re-worked with new driveway and planting to suit the symmetry of the front of the house. To the side and rear was a walled garden that was to become the main formal garden area with mixed planting, multiple seating spaces and a bespoke concrete rill dissecting through the garden.
One of the hardest challenges with this garden was the number of doors out into it and the connection it had to the different rooms in the house - this is something we tried to work with in the layout of the design.
New wirework gates and trellis were installed to enclose the space further whilst retaining the views beyond to a transition garden, kitchen garden complete with estate fencing and to a wider meadow area.
