The garden of this Grade II listed Georgian house is a large ongoing project. The initial phase involved moving and separating the driveway from the front of the house - this meant creating a divide using reclaimed bricks and coping to match the existing boundary walls.  The long term plan is for the driveway to house a bespoke three-bay oak garage.

 

By separating the driveway off, we were able to create a new patio space by the side of the house with pleached trees for screening and a path with herbaceous beds running across the front of the house up to the front door. A new levelled lawn was then installed for use by the family.

 

In the future, a contemporary living space is to be built and recessed back into the bank at 90 degrees to the house with further garden design and landscaping required.
