COUNTRY
GARDEN
SHEEPY MAGNA

Originally designed back in 2008 but not built until 2010, this was a series of three gardens created around a converted barn in the Leicestershire countryside.
To the rear, a lovely courtyard kitchen garden was created. Complete with raised vegetable beds, a summerhouse and a bespoke concrete water rill. On the other side of the house was the main garden. A long linear space was broken down into a wildflower meadow adjacent to a Vintage Limestone patio for dining on. A low limestone wall and its inverted form created a water trough to separate a gravel area planted with Sorbus trees - acting as a windbreak and as a place to hang a hammock.
The garden then flowed around to the front of the house which has a small pond, lawn area and structured planting to separate the large drive from the house.
