Blaston

A recently concerted series of barns to create a stunning new home with views out across the south Leicestershire countryside. This project offered the unique opportunity to build a ha-ha at the end of the formal law, ensuring uninterrupted views. We sourced British stone for the terraces and tumbled setts to create a new courtyard space and water trough as a focal outside the double height glazed living room. Estate fencing and a lower lawn filled with multi-stem amelanchier trees helped define spaces. The whole garden was then set off with soft perennial planting and topiary to add structure throughout the year.
