Larch House

A stunning modern house designed by Leaf Architecture. We were involved from the outset on this project and the results are spectacular. The first part of the brief was to ensure that the views out across the countryside were not interrupted and the extensive use of glass on the house ensured the connection to the garden was of paramount importance to the overall success of the whole project. The garden falls away from the house and a large terrace wraps across the main living spaces. This is broken up with a flat water canal and limestone pavers. To the side of the house is a destination arbour and BBQ space. This makes the most of the views without interrupting them. Multi-stem trees add a layer of height and the planting helps set the building within the countryside setting.
