A family garden for a young couple on a completely enclosed site with some great design details included. Working closely with the client we built up a lovely pallet of materials and details to really maximise the use of the space. Key to the brief was to matin some lawn for use by the children, we also created a small private soft seating area directly off the kitchen complete with fireplace and log store, for cosy evenings. There is then a larger dining area with outdoor kitchen for use with friends and family. A simple water rill runs alongside the limestone paver path that leads you down to the front door of the house. Multi-stem Parrotia trees add height and informal structure to the main spaces.
