Clipsham

A new house set in a Leicestershire village with a south facing aspect. The brief was to create a garden that connected back to the large living spaces within the house whilst understanding the village setting. It was also to include a good sized kitchen garden. We set about locating the kitchen garden on the south-east corner of the house out of sight from the main windows. A large terrace then wrapped around the back of the house and a box-clipped Hornbeam avenue added some height and separation from the house and garage. It also created a wonderful position to nestle a traditional greenhouse. A wildlife pond, large lawn and hedging helped finish the whole space off.
